[He looks at the two dogs, shifting his weight to one foot as he crosses his arms loosely over his chest.]
Alright, pretty good reason to follow you around. Did you give them names yet? [He makes a bit of a face when he looks at Dogmitri and gets another growl.] What's wrong with that one?
Well that's what's wrong with him! [He's talking to the dog now, shifting to more of a baby voice as he steps closer and drops down onto one knee.] Isn't it? He named you after Dimitri and not after his bestest friend in the whole world.
[The dog excitedly steps closer, his whole back end wagging. Meanwhile, Sylvain is oblivious that Felix actually had named the other dog after him. He gives Dimitri a hearty scratch before starting to playfully roughhouse with him.]
[Of course Sylvain notices Felix's blush and boyyyy is he ready. A handful of hilariously embarrassing names come to mind... embarrassing to Felix of course. His eyes widen when the truth comes out.]
Uh... Wh-.... S-seriously, Fe? [He catches himself, the nickname bringing back thoughts of their time together in the showers so he quickly adds the ending of his name.]-lix.
[Sylvain shakes his head, hair waving and flopping back and forth as he does. He honestly can't help but smirk in spite of himself. Just looking at the two dogs, both names were annoyingly fitting.
He gets back to his feet, still offering Dogmitri head scratches.]
Cats? Sure, why not? [He feels a weird wave of emotion thinking about being alone with Felix in his room, a feeling that immediately makes him feel a pang of guilt for where his mind goes.]
[Sylvain honestly couldn't be more thankful for his poker face than at that moment. If Felix was even looking at him, he had no doubt his friend would be able to read his real emotions, or at least that he was suppressing them and forcing something of a smile. But he's not.]

[Would he name a future pet after his dead brother? Yeah, definitely not. Though the circumstances were a bit... different.]

[He nods about Felix's room, unsurprised. Again, it makes him think back to the monastery. Both of their rooms had looked practically untouched save for Felix sticking extra swords all over the place in his room.]

[He's not going to make commentary on Sylvain's flirtatious behavior nor how he's been on dates and likely brought girls back to his room before. He doesn't want to think about it because it makes him mad. And he doesn't want to think about what that might mean. He probably should deal with this but he's just...not.]

[Such an ordeal. Of all the things Sylvain could make fun of Felix for, that one just didn't seem worth riling him up over. At least not more than he already had. Sylvain honestly didn't mind sharing a bedroom. It really wouldn't have made much difference to him if he was told to get settled because that was his room.]

[He's not even sure why he knows that. Time feels so different here. He does know that his birthday has come and gone. Not that anyone knows that. He's never told anyone that his birthday lines up a little with the calendar here.]

[There's a genuine gravity in his tone. Six months might not feel like that long under normal circumstances but Sylvain had only just gotten a taste of what this place served up and that was enough to know that six months is practically a lifetime.
He tilts his head slightly. Since he's following along behind Felix anyway, he can use the moment to see if he can spot any other notable changes in him. The pets, the scars... he can't help but wonder if there's more.]
[Felix stops by the door then opens it for the dogs first who immediately run to his room. He nods for Sylvain to follow him and then heads in to go open his bedroom. The cats are both on the bed, just waking up from the commotion of the dogs and the two men coming in. Ingrid immediately scolds them for it. Glenn pointedly turns around and presents his back to them.]
[He pulls the sword off of his hip and sets it down next to the other on the dresser. Going to the bed, he gives the kittens a scratch each before looking over his shoulder.]
Don't just stand there. The dogs will get out.
[That's an invite to come inside and close the door, okay.]
[Ingrid seems to take offense to that so Sylvain sticks his tongue out at her. He glances up in silent surprise at the little laugh. It's been a while. He's missed it.] I mean, they're cute enough... when they can run around outside and hunt mice.
I heard there were horses here though. Maybe I'll make a friend.
[Felix snorts again but honestly there's a fondness to it. Because he wants Sylvain to have the chance to ride again. It's what he knows Sylvain enjoys and is good at.]
