[Sylvain's amber eyes follow the dog as he trots over to Felix and sits on his foot, leaning against him and looking happily up at him, tongue lolling out. The other dog looks excited but is growling?
He gives Felix a smile as he tugs another button of his shirt open, feeling the prickle of perspiration across his forehead.]
Looking around. Seeing if there was anything out here. It's so hot though.
[He pauses, looking at the dogs, about to ask the obvious.] They yours?
[Felix doesn't tend to read a lot but he's definitely read a filthy novel or two. And Sylvain is the very picture of one of the strong male protagonists from it. Unbuttoning his shirt and glistening with sweat...]
You can't handle the heat, you idiot.
[Honestly he can't either. But the dogs have to piss somewhere.]
[Meanwhile, Sylvain is legitimately uncomfortable and growing increasingly miserable from the heat. His head is stuffy and the air feels too hot to breathe. Sexy is definitely the furthest thing from what he's actually feeling.]
Yeah, I didn't realize it'd be so hot out here.
[He hesitates for a moment almost looking like he's about to say something, but ends up nodding and heading inside. He knows Felix. He knows he's good at disappearing when he doesn't want to be found. The jerk better come inside when he's done and not sneak around and avoid him.
Honestly though, the second he steps inside, he starts to feel better. He feels an immediate relief from the stifling heat.]
[He hates how hot it is out here but waits for Sylvain to go inside before finishing up with the puppies. For a moment he considers taking another way in to avoid having to have this talk. But, no. Sylvain is going to find out eventually.
Sighing, he calls for his dogs and heads inside, shedding his coat as he goes to show off the scars on his arms. Fanning himself, he looks around until he sees the redhead then comes over to frown at him. His dogs are right at his heels.]
What? Afraid I'd melt and you'd never see me again? [He cracks a smile, knowing the joke is terrible.] Or maybe spontaneously burst into flames? I know I'm hot, but that's just ridiculous, Felix.
[He's not entirely sure how to act around his friend at this point. They'd kissed... and more. Obviously, that meant smiles and stupid jokes. The same way he dealt with everything.]
Anyway, I was just looking around. I won't make that mistake again. Promise. [He gives him a wink.] You gonna tell me why you've got two dogs following you around?
[He rolls his eyes which says what he thinks of those comments.] You were probably more worried about me vanishing instead.
[Glancing down at the animals he watches as puppy Sylvain flops against his foot again. Puppy Dimitri is growling again. So like the boar. He looks back up at the red head.]
They're mine. The demons were going to kill them and I took them in.
Well, you are a lot better at disappearing than I am. Unless an angry girl is looking for me.
[He looks at the two dogs, shifting his weight to one foot as he crosses his arms loosely over his chest.]
Alright, pretty good reason to follow you around. Did you give them names yet? [He makes a bit of a face when he looks at Dogmitri and gets another growl.] What's wrong with that one?
Well that's what's wrong with him! [He's talking to the dog now, shifting to more of a baby voice as he steps closer and drops down onto one knee.] Isn't it? He named you after Dimitri and not after his bestest friend in the whole world.
[The dog excitedly steps closer, his whole back end wagging. Meanwhile, Sylvain is oblivious that Felix actually had named the other dog after him. He gives Dimitri a hearty scratch before starting to playfully roughhouse with him.]
[Of course Sylvain notices Felix's blush and boyyyy is he ready. A handful of hilariously embarrassing names come to mind... embarrassing to Felix of course. His eyes widen when the truth comes out.]
Uh... Wh-.... S-seriously, Fe? [He catches himself, the nickname bringing back thoughts of their time together in the showers so he quickly adds the ending of his name.]-lix.
[Sylvain shakes his head, hair waving and flopping back and forth as he does. He honestly can't help but smirk in spite of himself. Just looking at the two dogs, both names were annoyingly fitting.
He gets back to his feet, still offering Dogmitri head scratches.]
Cats? Sure, why not? [He feels a weird wave of emotion thinking about being alone with Felix in his room, a feeling that immediately makes him feel a pang of guilt for where his mind goes.]
[Sylvain honestly couldn't be more thankful for his poker face than at that moment. If Felix was even looking at him, he had no doubt his friend would be able to read his real emotions, or at least that he was suppressing them and forcing something of a smile. But he's not.]

He tilts his head slightly. Since he's following along behind Felix anyway, he can use the moment to see if he can spot any other notable changes in him. The pets, the scars... he can't help but wonder if there's more.]

The cats are both on the bed, just waking up from the commotion of the dogs and the two men coming in. Ingrid immediately scolds them for it.
